EcoTurf

EcoTurf grows a low maintenance lawn that is environmentally friendly in either sunny or shaded areas. Slower growing than a Kentucky bluegrass lawn and requires less mowing, lawn requires less fertilizer, lawn is more drought resistant than Kentucky bluegrass, only requires watering during establishment. EcoTurf also contains endophytes and natural occurring fungus that provides natural insect resistance, increased disease resistance and greater vigor for wear tolerance and density for greater weed competition. Endophytes have also been linked with reduced leaf growth and increased winter persistence.

The seed mixture is composed of:

50% Creeping Red Fescue
20 % Windward Chewings Fescue
15% RIDU Hard Fescue
15% Azay Sheep Fescue
